What is a Vehicle Event Notification?
Configure Vehicle Event Notifications to send you an alert when:
- The Fleet Tracker detects low fuel, low battery, or diagnostic issues
- The Fleet Tracker is plugged in or unplugged
- The Fleet Tracker is hibernating
If your vehicle’s engine has been off for a week, the Fleet Tracker will enter a deep sleep mode to prevent draining the vehicle’s battery. The Fleet Tracker will stop communicating information until the engine is started again.
Desktop App Instructions
Step 1. Log in to the All Aware Desktop App
Step 2. Click Notifications on the left sidebar
Step 3. Click + New Notification
Step 4. On the pop-up screen, select Vehicles on the left sidebar, then click Vehicle Event Alert
Step 5. Under When these cars, select Any Car to get a notification for all vehicles, or select Specific Car and choose which cars to send alerts
Step 6. Under Report any of the following events, select the desired notification types
Step 7. Under Recipients, click Add to select which contacts receive the notification
If a contact is not listed: Click New to add a new Address Book entry. Enter the new contact's information, then click Add Contact
Step 8. Click Close
Step 9. (Optional) Rename the notification at the top of the screen
Step 10. Click Save
Mobile App Instructions
Step 1. Log in to the All Aware Mobile App
Step 2. Tap the More icon at the bottom right
Step 3. Tap Notifications
Step 4. Tap + Add New Notification
Step 5. Tap Use A Template
Step 6. Tap More > next to Vehicles to expand all Vehicle Notifications
Step 7. Tap Vehicle Event Alert
Step 8. Under When these cars, select Any Car to get a notification for all vehicles, or select Specific Car and choose which cars to send alerts
Step 9. Under Report any of the following events, select the desired notification types
Step 10. Next to Recipients, tap + Add to select which contacts receive the notification
If a contact is not listed: Tap + Add Contact to add a new Address Book entry. Enter the new contact's information, then tap Add Contact
Step 11. Tap Close
Step 12. (Optional) Rename the notification at the top of the screen
