This glossary is a quick overview of all the vehicle-related notifications you can create for your fleet. Click on a notification title to learn what the notification does, with a link to an article for how to create that notification.

Configure Vehicle Event Alerts to send you an alert when:
- The Fleet Tracker detects low fuel, low battery, or diagnostic issues from your vehicle.
- The Fleet Tracker is connected or disconnected from your vehicle.
- The Fleet Tracker is hibernating
- If your vehicle’s engine has been off for a week, the Fleet Tracker will enter a deep sleep mode to prevent draining the vehicle’s battery. The Fleet Tracker will stop communicating information until the engine is started again.

Configure Vehicle Unexpected Movement Alarm to send you an alert when:
- The Fleet Tracker detects movement of the vehicle when the engine is turned off. This could be triggered when a vehicle is towed, for example.

- Excessive speed
- Sudden acceleration
- Hard-braking
