These instructions will walk you through how to install your All Aware Fleet Tracker. Before installing your device, ensure that you have completed setting up your account.
How to Install the Fleet Tracker
Step 1. Scan the QR Code on the front of your device
Before proceeding to the next step, ensure your vehicle is OFF.
Step 2. Plug in the Fleet Tracker to your OBDII port. Where's my OBDII port?
Step 3. Wait 60 seconds. The tracker will power up and connect to the network. The LED will show alternating red and orange blinks signaling the device is connected to the cellular network and GPS signal is established.
At this point, you may turn on your vehicle.
FAQ's
- Yes, the first three trips are used to calibrate the Fleet Tracker to your engine and may not report all the data available until the configuration period is complete.
- A notification can be created to send an alert when the Fleet Tracker has been unplugged. Learn how to create a Vehicle Event notification.
- Some vehicles may require an OBD-II extension cable. If you need an extension cable for your Fleet Tracker, please contact our support team and they will assist you with questions or purchasing.
